and in terms of the comparison with Diablo 3 and Cyberpunk, Diablo 3 has significantly more outdated graphics than Resurrected does. Cyberpunk on the other hand made ridiculous claims about how their game could run on both consoles and lower end PC systems, but realistically that game isn’t anywhere near playable on even a 1060 lol.
What diablo 2 does have is if you do decide to chase after killing ubers, the items are not handed to you as easily as they are on d3. So there is that. edit: From reading your questions on other comments, diablo 2 is significantly harder than diablo 3 that is truth from a diablo 3 fan. Diablo 4 is very similar to Diablo 3, but makes some positive and negative changes. Much of the content is spread across an almost obnoxiously vast space, and character leveling is significantly slower to account for basically merging adventure mode and campaign. Diablo 4 is less solo friendly than Diablo 3 the farther into it you get, the MMO It is just like Diablo 3, but with way more customization. Graphics are a little different, but controls and playstyle are very similar. It also uses the same "Seasons" system to act as an optional reset, and has a big expansion coming out soon. 2. r/wow.
IMO it is more of a knowledge based game than an execution-skill game. Both play their part, but knowing the enemies and how to counter them is a huge part of being successful. Overall diablo 2 is less complex than PoE, but I would say it still has two layer (like most games - or arguably things in life do) :
