n8s 330xi. 573 posts · Joined 2007. #7 · Jan 22, 2008 (Edited) My '01 330xi has been very reliable. I have done a few things, such as FSU, Cam position sensor, and rebuilt axles. The 2 sensors ran me about $50 each, and took maybe 30 mins to do. Very easy and cheap.
Dealers do not have a resolution beyond what is listed here. Ongoing problems. If the latest software is installed and the issue persist, perform the following: Reboot the device (complete shutdown and restart - not sleep mode) Deactivate and reactivate Bluetooth in the vehicle. Retest the Bluetooth functionality.

It takes TIME and to do a proper diagnosis as you need to install UV Dye into the system (which a DIY'er can do with a $15 "Can Tap" with Gauge, and a $10 can of R-134a refrigerant with Dye included). I watched him try to connect again this morning. Was just getting fault errors. The only after market device I have on my vehicle is a lidar jamming
Leaking oil filter housing gaskets are the most common issue with all E90 engines, and you will hardly find an engine that hasn’t had this problem at some time. There are two gaskets — one between the oil filter housing and engine block, and the other between the housing and oil cooler. P9CZ54.
